The U11s travelled to St Ives at the weekend and put in an excellent performance under difficult conditions. With heavy rain leading into the match, the pitch made it difficult for both teams but they put on a thoroughly entertaining display nonetheless.

Falmouth showed great spirit after an early setback to get back into the game but were under pressure for much of the first half. Man of the Match Harry moved from defence into midfield for the second half and played a big part in the whole team putting on a much improved showing.

This was an impressive display by all that showed the team’s battling spirit and willingness to work for each other right to the final whistle.
