Another year older means the legs are getting heavier! The annual Falmouth United Coaches match was a huge success thanks to the exceptional organisational skills of Vice Chairman, Neil Tuffery. A hard hitting defender in his day, he adopted Gareth Southgate's defensive tactics to ensure his team could compete. Fielding 9 defenders on the same team.
The game finished 4-4 with some outstanding individual displays from old man Chris Pellow (u10s), John Mayo (u13s) and Gary Neville wannabe, right back, Matt Mitchell (u12s). Man of the match went to Neil Ansell (u11s) as he managed to play the whole game without touching the ball. The biggest win of the day was not requiring the services of the NHS on completion. Well Done All!
